Características del Carbón Vegetal en algunas Especies Madereras del Noreste de México

Abstract

Se produjo carbón vegetal en ensayos de laboratorio a partir de 12 espe­cies madereras provenientes del noreste de México y se determinaron las siguientes propiedades: densidad de la madera y del carbón, rendimiento, carbón fijo, materia volátil, cenizas, poder calorífico y área específica. En la mayoría de las propiedades hubo poca diferencia entre las especies. Excepciones fueron el contenido de cenizas y el área específica, donde algunas especies mostraron valores elevados.
