Aspectos Generales sobre la Ecologia Poblacional de la Lagartija Sceloporus Grammicus Microlepidotus (Lacertilia: Iguanidae), en la Vertiente Oriental del Volcán Iztaccíhuatl, Puebla
Abstract
Por medio del método de marcaje y recaptura propuesto por Fisher y Ford (1947), parámetros poblacionales tales como: tamaño poblacional, número de ganancias, número de pérdidas, tasa de sobrevivencia, tasa de incremento poblacional, tasa de natalidad, tasa de mortandad, tasa de incremento corporal y tabla de vida, fueron estimados para una población de Sceloporus grammicus microlepidotus localizada a 3 700 msnm, en un bosque de Pinus hartwegii. En este estudio se encontró que existe una relación muy directa entre las fluctuaciones de la población y los cambios de las condiciones ambientales; asimismo se logró establecer la existencia de una proporción constante de individuos que se pierden a diferentes edades.
